Each of you has seen an ad on the Google ad network. If not, you either didn't notice it or you don't know it's an ad. Google's advertising network no longer contains only thousands of websites, it also includes, for example, YouTube or mobile applications with the AdSense module. I won't show you where to click in AdWords to turn it on. But I will give some advice, thanks to which you can turn it on effectively. What does such an advertisement look like? You can use both text and image ads. I deliberately do not use the word banners, as it is the name for a specific format of image advertising.
Image ads are supported C Level Executive List in the following formats : 728 x 90 pixels - the so-called Leaderboard 468 x 60 pixels - the so-called Banner 250 x 250 pixels - the so-called Square 200 x 200 pixels - the so-called Small Square 120 x 600 pixels - the so-called Skyscraper 160 x 600 pixels - the so-called Wide Skyscraper 300 x 250 pixels - the so-called Medium Rectangle 336 x 280 pixels - the so-called Large Rectangle Not every website has space to display every format. For this reason, Google recommends us to insert both image formats and text ads into one campaign. As long as the page complies with the targeting, you can be sure that you will not be excluded from the impression auction due to the absence of a large enough ad block on that page.
image Leaderboard and Medium Rectangle in action. Notice the position for the Leaderboard in the picture. What would you suggest is the reason for placing 3 text ads in this block instead of an image ad? It is also the answer to one of the questions in the Advanced test for graphic advertising. It is related to the auction system and the set maximum price per click. I will not reveal more, but I believe that it is clear to many. Ad targeting You can target ads on the advertising network based on keywords, subject areas, a list of locations, i.e. specific AdSense blocks on specific servers or using collected remarketing audiences. You can also use combinations of these targets . For example, you can show the ad only to users who have already purchased from you, are on the exact server and are reading an article that matches your defined keywords.
